Ultralight Flights over the Ocozocoautla Valley
※ Experiencing Chiapas from the air is an experience that elevates more than the body: it makes the soul soar. At the Club de Vuelo Valle Bonito, near Ocozocoautla, you can board an ultralight and fly through the skies at a height of 984 ft. From up there, the rainforest turns into a sea of green and the hamlets look like miniatures.
The highlight is flying over the Río La Venta Canyon and seeing waterfalls like La Conchuda or the famed chasm Sima de las Cotorras: the echo of the engine mixes with the calls of the green parrots that emerge from the depths like sparkling emeralds.
